Personal Statement

Joy is our most equitable resource. I believe schools should be communities of care where every student is known, valued, challenged, and supported in discovering their “why.” Schools should foster discovery and wonder, nourish a lifelong love of learning, and develop critical thinkers who ask meaningful questions and recognize their capacity to shape the world around them.

My leadership is grounded in relationships, belonging, high expectations, and shared responsibility. I seek to build equitable systems in which students, families, and educators have voice and where care and accountability work together in service of growth. My role is to listen deeply, act with clarity, support the growth of others, and ensure that our daily decisions reflect our shared values. When joy, rigor, safety, and belonging are held together, every learner can recognize their strengths, find purpose, and achieve their greatest growth.
